Relinquishing one of the key elements, such a fire safety to a trusted consultancy can alleviate a great deal of work. It will also ensure that the approach taken has been thoroughly considered, tested and is the best solution for the development. Ensuring a fire safety plan is in place is a crucial requirement for Developers on both residential and commercial projects. Enlisting the support of fire design experts at an early stage can provide clear benefits to the progress of the development. ## ...arrange a call ![developer-2-1](https://info.fdsuk.com/hs-fs/hubfs/developer-2-1.jpg?width=675&height=450&name=developer-2-1.jpg) ## Early Engagement Benefits - A tailored approach to fire safety design - Increased freedom for architectural originality - Innovative design tools to inform building design methodology Fire safety design is a crucial part of the planning process for any construction development project. It’s important to enlist the services of a trusted consultancy as early in the project lifecycle as possible. Gaining detailed and expert advice at the early stage of construction will reduce the risk of last-minute design changes to accommodate fire safety systems. This further reduces the risk of delays, inflated costs and potentially damaging errors. ![riba-logo](https://info.fdsuk.com/hs-fs/hubfs/Template%20Files/riba-logo.jpg?width=403&height=130&name=riba-logo.jpg) Developers have a vast range of responsibilities and processes to deliver upon, all whilst maintaining profit margins, minimising costs and meeting deadlines. Fire safety is one of these responsibilities and should be executed masterly during the planning phases of the development. Early engagement with an experienced fire safety expert, such as FDS, will ensure compliance and provide a robust solution for the safety of building occupants. ## A Multi-Discipline Consultancy FDS Contracting provide an integrated range of services and can guide your project from initial consultancy, through supply and installation to on-going maintenance. Opting to use a multi-discipline consultant offers increased efficiency. It is also one of the most recent recommendations from the independent Review of Building Regulations and Fire Safety. ### Download our Guide to Residential Smoke Ventilation ![FDS - A Guide to Smoke Control in Residential Developments](https://info.fdsuk.com/hs-fs/hubfs/Document%20Img/FDS%20-%20A%20Guide%20to%20Smoke%20Control%20in%20Residential%20Developments.png?width=508&name=FDS%20-%20A%20Guide%20to%20Smoke%20Control%20in%20Residential%20Developments.png) [![Download](https://info.fdsuk.com/hs/cta/cta/default/4384324/12844114-876c-44e9-b543-1648cda9f0f6.png)](https://info.fdsuk.com/hs/cta/cta/redirect/4384324/12844114-876c-44e9-b543-1648cda9f0f6) ## FDS Contracting Enhance safety, whilst protecting financial margins and fulfil fire safety obligations with FDS Contracting.
